2013

2013 is shaping up to be a big year for Little Carrot Productions.

This year Bec has the role of Lead Artist for the Joondalup Festival

Twilight Lantern  Parade as well as the Lead Artist role for the Awesome

Festival’s Creative Challenge.

February/March saw a flurry of lantern making activity with schools for Joondalup Festival.

April rolled on and Bec rolled out to Fairbridge  for her 5th consecutive

festival. This year conducting lantern making workshops in Youthopia

and re-constructing last year’s Lantern Archway.

May included a delightful trip to Melbourne as well as a two week

residency in Kalgoorlie as part of the Awesome Festival’s Creative Challenge.

In June Bec returned to Lismore for the annual Lismore Lantern Parade,

creating a large bird/human puppet based on a character from Where

The Wild Things Are.

The remainder of the year is shaping up to be busy too, with another

Awesome residency (this time in Gascoigne Junction), a trip to Carnarvon,

the curating and coordinating of the final Creative Challenge exhibition

as well as starting work on next year’s Joondalup Festival.
